Fall 2012

This fall, prints will continue to be the rage. From gothic, eastern tobaroque inspired, you have countless patterns and motifs tochoose from.

Hop on the military trend, which is also making a loud entrancewith army-style jackets.
Loving the Military shirt styled with mini flower prints. Plus a pair of kick-ass boots to go  with. Looking strong and feminine at the same time.

This is also the time to experiment with layers. Look androgynousyet feminine, by pairing tougher looking outerwear such as leather or denim jackets, with dainty frills or sequin dresses.

Create what is known as the “androgynous yet feminine look” thatLondon’s fashion week has been raving about.

Here are some outfits that I think work magic.

Pixie Market

White denim is so hard to find! White denim vest adds an extra amount of attitude to an otherwise girly outfit. The details of the skirt are amazing too. Love the front zip!

Pixie Market

Rocker Jacket with a printed top gives off cool vibes. Pair it with high waist shorts or a bandage skirt to look perfect.

Of course, not forgetting my favourite fashion icons who are dressed in trend too:

Rumi Neely

An ecletic mix of boyish and girlish details

COOTDS Cindy Heyden:

Army prints, zebra prints, whats there not to love?

More feature-worthy looks from Lookbook:

Love the sunnies, necklace and ring that make the outfit stand out. I get this laid back and cool vibe from her because she's dressed in mostly earth tones. Still, the necklace stood out for its interesting drape-y details.

Military is in rage for sure. Pair it with a Gothic inspired black maxi and a layered choker. Bad enough for you?

Goth-inspired skirt and black biker jacket. Paired with gold plated arm candies, mickey sunnies, and Jeffrey Campbells, this look is good to go.

Summer is over, but i still cant stop loving florals. Paired with a vintage box bag, this look is girly but edgy at the same time.

Time to dig up my wardrobe! Im thinking of pairing a peach maxi with astructured denim jacket. Or a military inspired blazer with apaisley-printed short dress. I like how styling gives you the opportunity to draw inspiration from trends and put together your own pieces. More to come!

Layering

If you are bored with your outfits, try layering a white collared shirt inside say, a shirtdress, oversized tee or a knit sweater. it looks very korean-y heheheh. better still if you have cute details at the collar
